My Favorite Amelia Island Restaurants

I get the opportunity to photograph families visiting Amelia Island, so I wanted to share a blog post with all of my favorite Amelia Island restaurants. I am excited to share these local restaurants with you. Even if you live locally, you may see a restaurant you haven’t tried before and will love! There are so many hidden gems here on the island.

If you are looking for nicer dinner options, this list will be perfect for you!

1. Lagniappe – this restaurant is located on First Coast Highway. They have a yummy menu with options for everyone. They were voted Diners Choice for Open Table in 2022.
2. Pogos Kitchen – POGO’s is a cozy, casual restaurant with banquet seating, a bar, covered outdoor seating, and a private dining room featuring a wall of wine. They offer pasta, small plate options, and other delicious entree options.
3. Espana – One of my favorite places located in Downtown Fernandina Beach. Their paellas are prepared in traditional imported paella pans from Spain. We take great pride in our recipe, taking our travels to Spain and bringing those flavors to your table. We utilize only the freshest fish, shellfish, herbs (some grown on-premises), and spices for our paellas. You can’t go wrong if you choose to eat here!
4. Bob’s Steak & Chop House – Located in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Bob’s Steak & Chop House Amelia Island features a friendly staff, a lively atmosphere, fine wines, and large cuts of the finest prime steaks, chops, and seafood. With various dining experiences, guests can enjoy private dining rooms, the expansive alfresco patio dining area, or cozy lounge seating by the fire pits.
5. David’s Restaurant & Lounge – David’s is a one-of-a-kind culinary establishment with a menu inspired by simple and honest cooking. From classic recipes to new-age kitchen adventures, each dish reflects their passion for high-quality food presented on unique dinnerware, with each dish having its own style.

Now I want to share a few of my favorite more family-friendly restaurant options on Amelia Island.

1. Down Under Restaurant – If you are looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere and location with delicious seafood, you need to check them out!
2. Moon River Pizza – Of course, it wouldn’t be a list of restaurants without a pizza place. The atmosphere is super laid back, and the pizza is fantastic!
3. Timoti’s Seafood Shak – One of my favorite places for local fried shrimp, and this is the perfect place to eat with small children. They have all outdoor seating with a playground right on the property for the kids to play at while mom and dad enjoy their food!
4. Thai Spice Cafe – If you like Thai food, then you will definitely enjoy this restaurant. They offer authentic Thai food.
5. Fancy Sushi – They offer delicious sushi and hibachi with a great atmosphere that is perfect for families.
