I truly love living in beautiful Amelia Island. People from all over come to enjoy our beautiful beaches and our charming little town. I have the joy of meeting many vacationers who add a Family Session to their Amelia Island agenda. One of those families was the Hobbs! 

This precious family is from Kentucky. They have been vacationing in Amelia Island for years. Carrie and Jeremy visited for the first time with Jeremy’s parents in 2012. On that first trip, Jeremy proposed to Carrie on horseback by the ocean! How sweet is that?! They now try to return to Amelia Island each summer – now with their two little ones. Road trips certainly look a little different with kids, but, luckily, Amelia Island has something to offer, no matter what pace you are looking for.

The Hobbs like to spend their vacation time visiting their favorite local restaurants (never missing an opportunity for a Tasty’s burger), walking the shops near the marina, and, most of all, soaking up the peaceful ocean sounds on the beach! 

This year, the Hobbs wanted an oceanside Family Session to commemorate their trip together and I was thrilled to provide it for them. The photos were actually a gift for Jeremy’s mother! She is already planning where to proudly display them on her home wall. Photo sessions truly make the sweetest gifts! They capture the magic of your present season for you to look back on for years to come. I was honored to photograph this family that was clearly so tight knit and joyful! It’s special to see multiple generations so connected with one another. 

I’m so grateful that my job allows me to meet families like the Hobbs. I love what I do, where I live, and each family I have the honor of photographing!
