I recently had the opportunity to travel to Mexico for a destination wedding. Mr and Mrs Rocha had a beautiful wedding at an all inclusive resort and I got to take their photos. If you didn’t not know, I do travel for weddings. The Location.

Jonathan and Abby planned a beautiful tropical wedding at the Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. From the beautiful beach views, to the stunning hotel inside, everything was so picturesque and aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking for a beautiful Mexico all inclusive resort to vacation to or to plan a destination wedding, I definitely recommend! I felt like everywhere we turned to capture a photo, it was beautiful location! Of course being a photographer, I always appreciate that.

The Perks.

Another bonus to traveling for your wedding is that you get to have your photographer for more than just your wedding day. Because I was with Abby and Jonathan for a couple days leading up to their wedding day, I got to have a few different sessions with them. It was so much fun to be able to take photos in locations where I’ve never been before! Because most of my weddings are on Amelia Island, I don’t get to branch out when it comes to wedding venues. I am so thankful to Abby for using us as her wedding photographer!

One of my favorite parts of the Rocha Wedding was the reception. This couple and their friends and family let lose, and had a blast partying and dancing! It felt like the best celebration for their love. We got to end the night with the most fun photos as well, in the pool! As I said before, when you are at an all inclusive resort for your wedding, you have access to so many photo spots. The pool photos from this night may be some of my favorite wedding photos ever!

Just Do It.

All in all, if you’re looking for your sign to have wedding in a new destination, here it is! Just do it. There really isn’t a reason not to.
