October 2021 brought the joy of finally getting to capture the new “Mr. and Mrs. Nicklas” on their beautiful wedding day! I have never shot at Tuscan Rose Vineyards, but it was every bit of dreamy and magical. It feels as if you have stepped foot into Italy, right here in Nassau County.

All About Austin & Sierra

Austin and Sierra met seven years ago when they were both working at Island Falls on Fernandina Beach. Somehow they were always scheduled to work together (fate maybe?!) Austin charmed Sierra by always bringing her dinner to work. They dated for six and a half years before finally tying the knot. Sierra told me she knew Austin was the one pretty early on when they were driving back from a date, and Austin began singing to her. Austin says there was never one moment when he knew Sierra was the one, but a lot of “little” moments. He says Sierra continuously supported him and understood him like no one else has or ever will.

All About The Vendors

Their wedding day was every bit as beautiful as the love they have for each other, it lit up the room! Of course, Sierra was absolutely stunning in her dress from Debra’s Bridal Shop, it was so romantic and timeless. The florals accented her dress and the venue perfectly as well, which as a photographer makes me happy!

All About The Planner

I asked Austin and Sierra what their favorite part of their wedding day was, and they both agreed that getting to sit back and watch all of their family and friends talk and enjoy their day was really special to the both of them. A lot of getting to enjoy the wedding day for the bride and groom comes from having an amazing wedding planner. Austin and Sierra chose the best of the best, Corbitt Events. Christina Corbitt, CEO, Lead Planner, Event Manager, and Founder of Corbitt Events, is what I like to call a “friendor.” She’s more than just a vendor, I get to work with, she’s an amazing friend! If you are planning a wedding, I highly recommend using her and her team for your special day!
