Styled shoots have a special place in my heart, but this styled shoot was extra special. Tara and Jeremy were married young and didn’t get to take wedding photos together. For their fifteenth wedding anniversary, I had the opportunity to capture wedding photos for them. Everything about this styled shoot was absolutely perfect.

Jeremy and Tara were not only my “models” for this photoshoot, but they are good friends of mine. They are not only beautiful on the outside, but they are even more beautiful on the inside. One thing I adore about Tara and Jeremy is their love for one another. Their love for each other is so apparent that you can see it just through a photo. A lot of times with styled shoots, you are capturing “models” but with these two, I was just capturing their admiration for each other.

Because Tara and Jeremy didn’t have the typical wedding day, I wanted it to be extra special for them by having a setup that felt like a wedding day for them. I purchased the cake from the Publix bakery and then decorated it myself. The cake, flowers, and backdrop took this shoot to the next level and really made it feel as though I was photographing a wedding day.
