The Dougherty Family
One of the greatest joys of my job is being able to photograph families. It’s beautiful to see the love shared between a husband and wife, a parent and child, or a brother and sister in a family session. I feel so honored to be able to capture the magic of each family in their current season of life, whether that’s as a young couple, a growing family with children, parents and their teenagers, or a set of empty nesters. Every season has unique memories worth preserving forever.
Recently, I was able to photograph a family in a very special season of life – the Doughertys! Savannah and Ty have a precious daughter, Everly, and they are expecting another little bundle of joy in July! It was a treat for me to be able to capture the love between Savannah and Ty, the personality of Everly at an age in which kids seem to get bigger by the day, and the joy of a family that’s awaiting it’s newest member!
Meet The Dougherty Family…
Savannah and Ty have been married Since December 18th, 2016. They met at the Journey Church in Yulee, Florida, where they shared some mutual friends. They were introduced at the Revival event in 2014 and the rest is history! Now, they continue to live in north Florida, where they are raising their sweet girl, Everly, and excitedly awaiting the birth of their second child this summer.
The Doughertys were naturals in front of my camera! It was clear that each of them had a special relationship and I loved watching them interact with one another.
Plus, how beautiful is this family?! All of them looked fantastic for this beachside photoshoot. Savannah, especially, looked breathtaking! She truly has a beautiful, pregnancy glow about her! She also wore a dress from my client closet that was perfect for this family session and beautifully complimented Ty and Everly’s outfits.
The Dougherty family was a joy for me to photograph and I was honored to help them preserve the special memories of their current season. They are the sweetest family and I cannot wait to meet their newest addition in July!
